Act Now! Last chance to stop the extradition of Babar Ahmad

It has now been more than 2,889 days that Babar Ahmad has been detained without charge in UK prisons. This makes him the longest serving British citizen imprisoned withouth charge or trial in modern history.

In a matter of weeks, he is likely to be extradited to the US where he will be kept in prison for many years before his trial and then face life imprisonment without parole in solitary confinement in a super-max prison. Why? For allegedly committing crimes here in the UK.

Cageprisoners is asking everyone/anyone to write a letter to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Keir Starmer, asking him to review the evidence against Babar, which the Crown Prosecution Service has never done.  All that we are asking is that Babar and Talha are tried here, on British soil (where their accused crime was committed!) if there is indeed enough evidence to prosecute them.  If the Grand Chamber of the ECHR (European Court of Human Rights) declines Babar's final appeal, the DPP is pretty much the last person that can intervene in their extradition, so we really need your help!
