Mark Thomas Tells Morning Star Of Construction Blacklist Fury
Morning Star - 15 October 2013: Comedian Mark Thomas spoke yesterday of his fury after discovering his name among thousands on a construction industry blacklist.
The stand-up comic, who has been involved in campaigns against the activities of building firms, spoke to the Morning Star following the revelation that police had colluded with over 40 construction companies to put names on a massive blacklist detailing information about 3,213 workers and campaigners.
He sent a stark message to the police, warning that they had "a massive case to answer."
Mr Thomas fumed: "It's disgraceful to find out that I'm part of a list created by private business, private spies and the police.
