Jon Bonifacio, environmental delegate of Youth Advocates for Climate Action Philippines from Manila, represented our country at the COP26 in Glasgow in November. He is also the National Spokesperson of Saribuhay, a progressive youth environmental organisation. He is also active in Fridays for Future International, ensuring that the stories of the Most Affected Peoples and Areas or MAPA are centred in the global fight for climate justice. As a graduate of molecular biology, he firmly believes in the importance of making science genuinely serve the people, particularly in the context of the climate crisis.
Also, to give an in-depth situation of human and indigenous peopleโs rights in the country.
